
Having more time for myself now both the boys are going to school. I am trying out new stuff and a starting this new blog/site. Where instead of talking about Italy and my life in it, because to be honest apart from some things it is not that much different then my life before or maybe it is………well Ijust make it a place where i can let my thoughts flow……

This is one of our favorites when there are fresh strawberries available.

Ingredients
500 gr of marscapone
200 ml cream
150 gr sugar
500 gr strawberries washed and cut in half
a pack of savoiardi
2 cups of coffee
a glass bakingdish
First you mix the marscapone with the cream and the sugar untill smooth.
Then you dip the savoiardi one at the time in the coffee and make a layer in the bakingdish.
When you have one layer finished cover them with a thin layer of the marscapone mixture.
Then you lay another layer of savoiardi dipped in coffee, then marscopne mixture adn on till the marscapone mixture is finished.
The final layer should be of the marscapone mixture. Then you spread the strawberries over the top and you put the dish in the fridge for about 6 hours. I normally take it out of the fridge half an hour before serving.
